Investing in a college degree is important and your time is valuable, so make sure you know about the ways you can earn a degree in less time.
Consider an Adult Degree Completion Program (ADCP)
Many Tennessee colleges and universities offer Adult Degree Completion Programs (ADCPs). ADCPs are designed for working adults who need flexibility and convenience. These programs can be taken online or in a traditional classroom.

Use Your Experience
If you have years of valuable work, military, or volunteer experience, you may already be eligible to receive academic credit. Be sure to ask your college about getting credit for what you have already done. Learn more about these options and if you could be eligible.
Use The Courses You Took The First Time Around
If you attended college in the past, those courses can be evaluated for credit this time around. Make sure you contact all of the colleges you have attended and request transcripts of your past course history! Your new college will do a formal degree audit once you enroll, and will apply any past credits that qualify towards your degree.
In the meantime, create an account to use Transfer Check to estimate which of your past courses Tennessee colleges might accept and the degree programs that they could be applied to. It will give you an idea of how far along toward your degree you may already be.
