Located on 195 acres in northeast Tennessee, Milligan College offers students a liberal arts education in a community of inquiry, responsibility, and caring. The curriculum unites humanities, sciences, and fine arts into a Christian world view. A strong academic program includes major areas of study such as business, nursing, communications, and education. Internships give students hands-on experience and graduates are well prepared for careers or acceptance into graduate or professional schools. The College also provides a wide variety of activities and campus events that encourage social, cultural, and spiritual growth. Affiliated with the Christian Church, Milligan welcomes students from diverse backgrounds.

Transfer Application Requirements

Minimum GPA:
You must have a GPA of at least 2.0 on a 4.0 scale for transfer admission consideration.
Official Transcripts:
Furnish transcripts of all previous college work. High school transcripts are not required unless you have completed fewer than 24 college semester hours.
SAT/ACT Scores:
ACT or SAT-I scores are not required unless you have completed fewer than 24 college semester hours.
Letters of Recommendation:
Arrange for a school official and a church minister or leader to complete the enclosed school and church reference forms.
Essay:
There is a 200 word minimum essay required on your application.
Application Fee:
Complete the application form and submit it to the Office of Admissions with a non-refundable application fee of $30.

Transfer Credit Policy

Minimum Grade:
Milligan College does not accept any transfer credit for courses at other institutions for which a grade below a C- was earned.
Credits (Min/Max):
The minimum number of credit hours earned at Milligan toward a bachelor’s degree shall be 45.
