Will provide a holistic examination of the relationships between sport organization operations and the natural environment. Sport, in its participative and experiential forms, works with and within, the natural environment. The physical environmental footprint made by sport-related activities demands attention as with any other form of human activity. The social and cultural position of sport makes it an important example of natural environment responsibilities. Sport is a platform for bringing education and behavioral change to those who participate in as well as those who support it.Registration Restriction(s): Recreation and Sport Management major.
