This course will cover the basic concepts of forensic accounting including fraud auditing. Course content includes the elements of fraud, types of fraud, use of internal controls to prevent fraud and investigative accounting and auditing techniques directed toward fraud identification. Students will utilize the common techniques used to commit and identify financial statement fraud. Prerequisite: MGMT 340 or BUSN 339.
