This course focuses on the fundamentals of performing Environmental Assessments (EIA) under the guidelines of the National Environmental Policy Act (NEPA). Students will learn about NEPA regulations and the EIA process. In the laboratory component of this course, students will gain practical experience planning and performing an EIA. Prerequisite: EVSC 111 or permission of the instructor. This is a field intensive course.
