Prerequisite: CHEM 3210/3211 with grades of C or higher; Corequisite: CHEM 4750;Description: Laboratory component of an in-depth treatment of the development and validation of methods used in chemical analysis. Quantitative and qualitative methods involving both wet chemistry and instrumentation will be used, integrating the concepts of quality control, statistical methods, record keeping and regulatory compliance.
