This course is designed to provide the student with lectures and simulated clinical activities related to the entry-level skills performed by medical assistants in a physician's practice. Students are required to perform a variety of those entry-level clinical skills through performance of supervised lab assignments and competency evaluations. Selected performance objectives for all graded competency evaluations will be provided to each student and discussed in class or lab sessions. Two hours lecture and four hours lab per week. (Prerequisite: MDCA 1302.) F
