This course covers EMR/EHR systems, design, implementation, and application. Topics include EHR, Health Informatics, information/network security, troubleshooting, medical office hardware and software applications, and on- and off-site medical record storage. Upon completion, students should be able to facilitate usage of electronic health record systems and other technologies.Prerequisite: BUSN 1360 or INFS 1010 and HCMT 2305 with a grade of “C” or higher.Not part of a Tennessee Transfer Path
