Prerequisite: Eight hours of biology with a grades of ā€œCā€ or higher; Corequisite: BIOL 2300;Description. Laboratory component focusing on the introductory study of bacteria, viruses, fungi, and protozoan with particular emphasis on their relationship to infection and disease. Asepsis, immunity, sterilization, and special problems related to patients and hospitals. Completion of BIOL 2300 does not substitute for BIOL 3051 for a Biology major or minor.
