Prerequisite: MATH 1530 or higher, or GEOG/GEOL 3060, or permission of instructor; Corequisite: GEOG 4181;Description: Elements and processes defining and characterizing global climate patterns and classifications. Climates are examined for their spatial and temporal interaction with, and impact on, physical, biological and human activity environments. Impact of environmental and atmospheric phenomena, including global warming and ozone depletion on climate and climate change are examined.
