Prerequisite: All JROTC LET IV Cadets are eligible to enroll in this course. Cadets will be vetted by the school’s Senior Army instructor.Description: This course in designed for high school seniors who want to take college elective credit. The course is focused on building the higher level leadershipskills required for participating and leading Community Emergency ResponseTeams (CERT). CERT is a Federal Emergency Management Administrationprogram that educates individuals about disaster preparedness for hazards thatmay impact their area and trains them in basic disaster response skills. TheCERT Curriculum is embedded in the US Army JROCT curriculum and isaccredited by Advanced ED.
