This course focuses on industrial safety, including personal safety and equipment, hazard recognition, safeguards and rules and regulations according to the Occupational Safety and Health Act (OSHA). A systematic review of application and fundamental requirements of industrial safety and housekeeping practices as they relate to manufacturing and service industries. Other topics include tools, equipment, and procedures; and first aid and cardiopulmonary resuscitation, and risk management procedures.
