A study of basic electrical components in a mechatronic system. Topics include basic functions and physical properties of electrical components to include: electrical tools and instruments, electrical test equipment, 3-phase systems, single phase and three phase AC motors, DC motors, electical conductors, and basic wiring techniques. Electrical circuits are analyzed through the use of electrical test equipment and procedures.
