Prerequisite: Acceptance into the senior year (clinical phase) of the MTEC program or permission of program director; Description: Lab component for chemical, physical, and microscopic examination of urine and other body fluids. Inborn errors of metabolism and renal function, disease, and diagnostic testing will also be examined. Clinical laboratory testing, automation, quality control, clinical significance, and correlation of results with pathological states will be emphasized.
