Prerequisites: SPED 2300. Prepares students to conduct assessments and develop individualized education plans for K-12 learners with a variety of exceptional learning needs. The course includes study of various methods and materials used to assess student performance to aid in the development of measurable goals, objectives, accommodations, and modifications that are in accordance with due process and the laws of the Individuals with Disabilities Education Improvement Act, IDEIA (2004).
