Prerequisites: Completion of second semester Sophomore courses.Corequisites: NRSE 3500. Provides opportunities to apply nursing knowledge to the direct care of patients in a variety of settings, emphasizing care for adult clients in acute care. More advanced clinical skills are studied. The course also incorporates nursing process and critical thinking to make clinical decisions in patient care. Experience is gained in planning, implementing, and evaluating care for patients of medium complexity.
