This course is designed to facilitate the transition of licensed practical nurses in becoming associate degree registered nurses. Content is derived from first year courses to provide a foundation upon which the remainder of the nursing curriculum is based. Successful completion of both the theory and clinical components of this course with a grade of ¿C¿ or higher is required for continued progression in the nursing program. Prerequisites: BIOL 2010, BIOL 2020, ENGL 1010, PSY 1310, and COM 1010. (5 hours lecture/3 hours clinical)
