3 Credits3 Class HoursAn introductory course in AC circuits. Topics include voltage, current, resistance, and power in AC circuits, series, parallel, and more complex circuits using Kirchhoff’s laws and selected network theorems, capacitance and inductance, resonance, transformers and polyphase concepts. Lab exercises include building, measurement, and analysis of AC circuits containing resistance, inductance, and capacitance. This course, when combined with EETC 1313, addresses content previously covered in EETH 1110 and EETH 1215.
