This course will introduce basic architectural design principles through three interrelated and interconnected projects. Elementary concepts of form, space and place will be explored through two-dimensional and three-dimensional abstract exercises. Creation of physical and digital architectural representations such as sketches, drawings and models will examine the interplay between the abstract and the physical and issues of structure, enclosure and space.Prerequisite(s): ARCT 1220
