This course is a continuation of Radiographic Practicum I and is designed for students to participate in radiographic examinations under approved supervision in the clinical setting. Experience in a variety of procedures will assist students in applying theory and developing specified levels of competence. Students will build upon their foundation and continue the proper use of radiographic equipment6, along with the development of skills in positioning, patient care, interpersonal communications, image analysis, and radiation safety practices. Competence at this continued level will be evaluated and documented for a selected category of exams (240 total clinical hours). Sp (Prerequisites: All learning support classes, if needed, must be completed prior to enrollment in this course and formal acceptance into the Radiologic Technology Program) Not part of a TN Transfer Pathway.
