The study of nursing care required to assist the individual and his family in coping with commonly occurring health problems. The nursing process; assessing, planning, intervention, and evaluation is emphasized. Pharmacology, nutrition, psychosocial, and cultural aspects are integrated. Five lecture and nine clinical hours each week. (Formerly NURS 102) Pre-requisite (NURS 1010). Co-requisites (BIOL 2220/2221 and PSYC 2010, BIOL 2210/2211, ENGL 1010,).
