Prerequisite: Full admission to the Teacher Education Program. This course offers an examination and application of curricular issues, learning theories, pedagogical methods, and assessments for teaching K-12 computer science in multicultural and diverse classrooms. Comprehensive K-8 or 9-12 computer science lesson plans will be collaboratively developed. The fundamental intersections between computer science and other K-12 disciplines for the purpose of teaching will be investigated. A grade of B or better is required to meet requirements for licensure candidates.
