This course is designed to provide students who are interested in pursuing a child life certification with 50 hours of clinical experience. The practicum includes observation opportunities for students to explore the following theory and interventions related to the child life practice including; child life assessments, developmental theory integration, therapeutic play interventions, rapport building. Prerequisites: 3.0 GPA required, and ECHD 2000 or department head approval.
