This course discusses the development of workplace skills for adults with Autism Spectrum Disorder enrolled in the Mosaic Program. During this semester, we explore the process of finding a professional niche. Students identify strengths and challenges for the purpose of discovering student’s optimal work environment. This course also addresses topics of disclosure and self-advocacy in the workplace. Students also learn professional workplace structure and how to engage in professional communication with supervisors and colleagues.
