This course addresses the social nature of the workplace and offers students in the Mosaic Program strategies for engaging in the “water cooler culture.” Students learn how to develop effective stress management techniques as well as the value of collaboration and teamwork. Other topics include the importance of professional development and how to respond to evaluation and feedback. Throughout the semester students learn professional skills such as how to network and market themselves to potential employers among other skills.
