Co-requisites: RN Licensure or consent of program director (must be taken in the semester the student is scheduled to graduate);Descripton: A clinical synthesis of normal anatomy, physiology, pathophysiology, and nursing assessment concepts in patients with selected illnesses. Students are guided through the steps problem solving, prioritizing needs, determining short and long term goals, anticipating therapeutic intervention, and initiating appropriate nursing care. One hour credit practicum will validate transfer of knowledge from classroom to the clinical.
