Survey of the general concepts and research areas in culture, ethnicity, and race within the field of psychology. Emphasis upon the interactions between culture and psychological concepts such as cognition, language, gender, behaviors, and health and intergroup relations. Offered as needed. Prerequisite: 6 credit hours of psychology courses OR 6 credit hours of sociology courses OR department head approval. Also offered as PSY 3670. Credit not allowed in both PSY 3670 and SOC 3670.
