Focus of this course is to help students develop a conceptual understanding of the systems engineering life-cycle process and familiarity with analysis techniques used in that process. We will discuss systematically establishing, defining and managing the requirements for complex and changing systems from a technical and administrative perspective. We address the techniques used to capture, validate and understand all requirement specifications at all stages of a systems life cycle. Introduction to process design, with an emphasis in the requirements stage.(RE) Prerequisite(s): 531.
