Laboratory assignments demonstrating the structure-property-processing relationships in metals, ceramics, and polymers. Exposure to a variety of characterization techniques, such as scanning electron microscopy, x-ray diffraction, differential scanning calorimetry, dilatometry, and thermal gravimetric analysis. Students to deliver results via report writing and oral presentations. (RE) Prerequisite(s): 201 and 210.
