This course introduces the PTA student to common musculoskeletal pathologies, contemporary rehabilitation concepts, and accepted therapeutic interventions for these conditions. Emphasis will be placed on safe and effective application of specific orthopedic treatment interventions and data collection.

PREREQUISITE: PTAT 2100, PTAT 2210, PTAT 2460, PTAT 2530

COREQUISITES: PTAT 2220, PTAT 2440, PTAT 2492

HOURS: Forty-five lecture and sixty laboratory hours per semester.

Vocational/Career Program Designation: *Designated primarily for vocational/career programs

This course may be accepted as transfer credit by some colleges and universities, but that decision is made by the receiving institution. This course is collegiate level work, but it has been developed with a purpose other than being a university parallel course.
