This course is designed to introduce students to radiographic positioning principles and the application of those principles in the clinical setting. Radiographic positioning of the chest, abdomen, upper and lower extremities and vertebral column are presented. This course includes a lab requirement in which students practice positioning radiographic models to acquire skills.

COREQUISITE: None

HOURS: Two lecture, two laboratory hours per week.

CAREER COURSE: Designated primarily for vocational/career programs. This course may be accepted as transfer credit by some colleges and universities, but that decision is made by the receiving institution. This course is collegiate level work, but has been developed with a purpose other than being a university parallel course.
