This course will examine the methodology and practice of providing security in modern information systems. Design, development, auditing, and maintaining security of information systems will be examined in detail. The course will provide the student a comprehensive understanding of the theoretical and practical elements of Internet security. Ethics in information security, intrusion detection, risk management, cryptography and physical security will be discussed.
