This course will focus on the poetry of the Modern period. Students will read works of the early Moderns such as Thomas Hardy, William Butler Yeats, T. S. Eliot, Ezra Pound, Robert Frost, William Carlos Williams, and Wallace Stevens, as well as selections from more recent poets. Students will do research and share their findings with the class.
