This course seeks to acquaint students with the ways of creating studying and evaluating film art. It will introduce the essential terminology related to film studies cover film history in America and abroad and focus on the notable works of individual filmmakers and eras. In considering matters of genre narrative technique and imagery students will engage film as if it were another form of literature. ENGL 2450 can fulfill the Human Creative Processes core requirement.
