This course focuses on development of skills in conducting a comprehensive client health history and physical exam. Students will learn developmentally and culturally appropriate approaches in interview techniques the use of standard assessment instruments and tools how to analyze data to identify areas of health maintenance or promotion and appropriate documentation of collected data. Registration requires faculty approval prior to acceptance to nursing program.
