This course introduces students to the formal characteristics of a variety of narrative forms including short stories, novels, memoir, and graphic narrative. It also studies the way in which narrative forms have been employed by authors from a range of culturally diverse backgrounds. it will fulfill a Wesleyan Essentials Cultural Diversity requirement.
