This course will provide an overview of economic concepts and models, as used in micro- and macroeconomics. Students will explore how concepts relate to individual, organizational, and policy level decision-making and forecasting of economic conditions. Students will be introduced to microeconomic tools for evaluating price, cost, profit, and production decisions under different market conditions. Macroeconomic forces and international trends are considered, as well as their significance for fiscal and monetary policy and business forecasting. Prerequisite: MATH 140.
