Respiratory care procedures in hospital settings; clinical rotations may be scheduled during evening or night hours; clinical fee and liability insurance required; 24 lab hours; Satisfactory/No Credit grading. Emphasis on patient evaluation and clinical judgment; pediatric therapy, blood gas instrumentation and quality control procedures, EKG testing and interpretation, endotracheal intubation, pulmonary function testing, chest radiographs interpretation and home care.
