This is an advanced laboratory course with a further emphasis on out of position Gas Metal Arc Welding (GMAW) and Flux Core Arc Welding (FCAW) welding on various materials both ferrous and non-ferrous. Also advanced GMAW processes will be covered and their applications detailed. The goal of this class is to prepare the students to pass the AWS, API, or ASME standard or certification tests.Discussion of welding procedures and testing standards will also be covered. This course is designed for those who wish to improve their skills to prepare them for entry into the workforce as a GMAW/FCAW welder. Class: 0 Lab: 9
