This course applies the nursing process to promote, maintain and restore optimum health for diverse clients experiencing alterations and variations in psychosocial-cultural life functions. The course is structured around eight core competencies applied to clients with mental health. Emphasis is on health promotion, therapeutic communication and legal-ethical aspects of mental health nursing.
