Examines the methods of investigation that lead to our understanding of light and its role in nature and chemical reactions as it pertains to traditional, alternative and historic photographic printing methods. Lecture 3 hours, laboratory 2 hours. Corequisites: PHYS 1019L or department head approval. May be registered as CHEM 1019. Credit not allowed in both PHYS 1019 and CHEM 1019. Laboratory/studio course fee will be assessed.
