Description:
Quantitative relations of chemical reactions and physico-chemical processes. Calculations based on gases, vapors, humidity, and process material balances. Study of industrial processes involving thermo physics, thermo chemistry, and heat balances. Fall semester. Lecture 3 hours. Prerequisites: CHEM 1110 and CHEM 1110L, MATH 1920 or MATH 1960, and ENCH 1000 with a minimum grade of C or department head approval. May be registered as ENEV 3310. Credit not allowed in both ENCH 3310 and ENEV 3310. Differential course fee will be assessed.
