Description:
Introduction of four comprehensive Lean key performance indicators (KPIs): waste of the time of things (as in cycle time), waste of the time of people, waste of energy, and waste of materials. Different International organization for Standardizations, such as ISO 9001 quality management system standard, the ISO 14001 environmental management system standard, and the new ISO 50001 energy management system standard are introduced. Spring semester. Lecture 3 hours. Prerequisite: MGT 2110 with a minimum grade of C or department head approval. Differential course fee will be assessed.
