Basic rehearsal techniques synthesizing instrumental methods, written and aural theory, and large ensemble experience; performance of Grade II literature on secondary instruments. Score analysis detailing expected rehearsal problems with logical pedagogical solutions. Two class hours weekly. Prerequisites: MUS 2080, MUS 1420, MUS 2230 or proficiency exam, MUS 2240 or proficiency exam, MUS 2250, or department head approval.
