Survey of the general concepts and research areas in social psychology. Emphasis upon the interactions between the individual and society with consideration of such topics as attitudes, prejudices, conformity, deviance, socialization, and interpersonal attraction. Every semester. Prerequisite: 6 hours of psychology or sociology or department head approval. May be registered for as SOC 3310. Credit not allowed in both PSY 3310 and SOC 3310.
