Readings on Hispanic culture, literature and civilization. Emphasis on acquiring reading and translation skills. Classes conducted mostly in Spanish with discussion in English or in Spanish. Spring semester. Prerequisites: SPAN 2110 or SPAN 2130 with a minimum grade of C or placement or department head approval. This course is for students who only wish to satisfy their foreign language requirement. It does not prepare students for upper level Spanish courses.
