This course is intended for students whose program of study requires one 3-hour mathematics course. This course is designed to provide insight into the nature and applications of mathematics. Topics include but are not limited to the following: Critical Thinking, Set Theory, Logic, Consumer Mathematics and Finance, Counting Methods and Probability Theory, and Basic Statistics. (Same as TN eCampus Math 1010)

PREREQUISITE: ACT Math subscore of 19 (or equivalent), or completion of Learning Support Competencies 1-5 , or concurrent registration in MATH 0101 or MATH 0105.

COREQUISITE: None

GEN ED: Course can be used to meet Minimum General Education Core requirements.
