This course is designed for science and pre-professional majors. This is an introductory course devoted to the study of scientific methodology, principles of cellular biology, the dynamics of the living cell, molecular biology, genetics, and evolution. A beginning study of the structure and function of living organisms including viruses, bacteria, protists, and fungi is also included. May not receive credit for both BIOL 1110 and BIOL 1010 and BIOL 1080.
