Description:
Prerequisites: Consent of advisor and advanced graduate standing. This course focuses on teaching methods associated with the physical sciences of physics and chemistry. Students will experience and learn the theories behind inquiry, modeling, and other appropriate classroom instructional methods for physics and chemistry topics. Methods and topics will cover grades K-12 with a strong emphasis on conceptual understanding and vertically-alligned standards-based instruction. Students enrolled in the 5000-level course will be required to complete additional work as stated in the syllabus.
