Internships offer the student an opportunity to observe and work in a professional setting while gaining valuable `on-the-job training?. Internships for the MPS program should fit within the framework of the intern?s concentration area (Strategic Leadership, Human Resource Leadership or Training and Development). The intern must complete the equivalent of ten hours per week for 15 weeks (one semester) to receive three hour of credit (150 hours total). Course objectives will be established by the instructor in collaboration with the intern and field supervisor for the internship. The field supervisor will coordinate the work of the intern and provide an evaluation at the conclusion of the internship while the instructor for the course will be responsible for assigning the final grade
